Introduction: The Dell DJ Ditty is an mp3 player put out by Dell. It is extremely small and lightweight which makes it perfect for someone looking for a device they can take with them on runs, to workout at the gym, etc.
Mp3 is basically a way of taking a song or entire album and compressing it into a file that is small enough to be emailed or downloaded from the internet. It is similar to a Zip file except that when a file is Zipped (compressed) it is unusable until it is un-zipped (un-compressed). An mp3 file never needs to be uncompressed to be played. It is played straight from the compressed format.
This tutorial is easy for anyone who has basic computer skills. This is an easy process even if you do not consider yourself “tech savy”.
Objective: To teach how to transfer music files from your computer onto your DJ Ditty. This is my sole objective. You simply need the DJ Ditty and a computer with music files on it (that you have previously transfered to your computer) in order to complete this task.

Personal experience: I was sent a DJ Ditty for free with the purchase of my laptop. I used it for a few months before I was given an ipod for my birthday. I gave my DJ Ditty to my sister. This tutorial should help her learn how to use it!
