I am a 30 year old stay-at-home mom of a toddler (he’ll be two in August). I love that I’m able to finish my degree while being home with my little guy. He was in daycare part time at one point, just for a few months, and I didn’t like that. Yes, I did get a little more free time, but it felt like someone else was doing my job. Anyway…again, I’m thankful I can have the best of both worlds. I truely feel that it’s the best thing for my little guy….to have his mommy available to him and not just have the “leftovers” of my time and energy.
I’m getting my degree in Liberal Studies. Once my son gets a little older I plan to get my teaching credentials. I just moved to Washington (just outside of Seattle), so I don’t know what the requirements are up here yet. I’m excited to be close to finishing my degree! It’s been a long time coming.
